A current issue in Computational Neuroscience is to develop models that describe the neuronal firing accurately and with low computational lost. The Hodgkin-Huxley model fulfills the first criteria but fails in the second one. In order to handle it, there are other simpler models, as the Integrate-and-fire. Both methods present deterministic approaches, and in order to obtain more accurate results, we have considered the addition of Brownian noise. We have obtained more accurate results and compared them.
